Blender’s compositor is missing math operator nodes for vectors. This free download contains a bunch of vector math nodes you can use in the compositor.

v1.1 Update: The compositor’s Map Range node doesn’t have smoothstep and smootherstep interpolation options, so I included them in this nodepack too.
